Algiers Airport:
The
Houari Boumedienne International Airport is the key airport serving
the city of Algiers. The airport is also the busiest in Algeria
and links the city to a number of domestic and international destinations.
The airport is the main hub for national airline Air Algerie.
Other airlines: Air Canada, Egyptair, British Airways, Alitalia,
Lufthansa, Air France, Iberia, Air China, Air Mauritanie, Royal
Air Maroc, Qatar Airways, Spanair, Turkish Airlines.
Facilities: the airport is situated about 19 km from the city
centre and has two passenger terminals (domestic and international).
Taxis and shuttle services are the main means of transport to
and from the airport though car hire services are also available.
There is an airport hotel, duty free shops, gift shops, restaurant
and restrooms.
