Antsirabe:
Antsirabe
is a Madagascan City situated to the south-west of Antananarivo.
The City is one of the largest with an estimated population of
over 200,000 residents. Antsirabe is situated within the Antananarivo
Province.
The City is easily reachable by road from Antananarivo
and there are regular buses that ply this route between the
two cities. Transport within the city is uniquely identified
by the
local rickshaws known as “pousse pousse”. The town’s
main attractions are its thermal baths and the nearby Lakes Andraikiba
and Tritriva.
The town also has a number of decent hotels such as the Diamant
Hotel, Hotel Des Thermes and the Arotel Antsirabe. There is also
a selection of good restaurants, cafes and bars.
