Burkina
Faso is home to an estimated population of 13, 902, 972 people.
The country’s main ethnic groups are; Mossi, Gurunsi, Senufo,
Lobi, Bobo, Mande and Fulani. People of Burkina Faso are known
as “Burkinabe”. A number of tribal languages are widely
spoken in the country. French however is the Burkina Faso’s
official language.
Religion: Islam is the country’s main religion and traditional
beliefs are also commonly observed by a large part of the country’s
population. Christianity also exists.
