Flag of Cameroon:

The current flag of Cameroon was adopted on the 20th of May 1975. The flag was introduced to represent the unified Cameroonian republic. The colors on the flag appear on a number of African flags and are regarded as Pan-African colors.

The green color represents the country’s natural vegetation and symbolizes hope. Red is for unity and yellow is for the sun and the country’s northern savannas. The yellow star at the centre signifies unity.
