Cape
Town is one of the largest cities in South Africa third in terms
of population after Johannesburg and Durban. Cape Town is also
the country’s legislative capital, home to the South African
Parliament. The City is also the administrative capital of the
Western Cape Province and is situated near the Cape of Good Hope
(from which the city got its name) off the South Atlantic Ocean.
The City is a testament to South Africa’s flourishing tourism
industry.
Each year Cape Town hosts more than a million visitors from
around the world who come here for leisure, sporting activities

and hiking.
From here you can also take a trip to Robben Island
with tours conducted regularly to this prison where Nelson
Mandela and other anti-apartheid activists were detained. The
city also
has a lively nightlife and a good variety of entertainment
options including pubs, restaurants and nightclubs.
