Casablanca
is the largest city in Morocco. The city is home to an estimated
3.6 million people and is situated in western Morocco off the
North Atlantic Ocean. Casablanca is home to the country’s
key port and is viewed by many as the chief economic centre
in Morocco and
is the location of the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
The city is
also an important transport hub; home to the Mohammed V international
airport. The city is also linked to the rest of the country
by rail and road.
Education: here you will find a number of technical training
schools, colleges and universities such as the University of
Casablanca and the University of Hassan II.
Casablanca is also a key tourism spot and interesting places
to visit are; the Casablanca Technopark, Hassan II Mosque, Parc
de la Ligue Arabe. The city is also home to a good range of restaurants
serving the best in famed Moroccan cuisine. There are also bazaars,
shopping centers, pubs and nightclubs.
