Entebbe:
Entebbe
is one of Uganda’s key cities. The city is situated on
the shores of Lake Victoria about 40 km to the south of Kampala.
Entebbe
has developed largely due to its importance as a transport hub.
The city is home to the Entebbe International Airport which is
the key airport in Uganda.
The airport caters for most international flights to the
country and visitors to Kampala arrive via here. Travel
between Entebbe
and Kampala is mainly by “matatu” and buses. The
city has a lot to offer visitors including; white sandy beaches,
golf
course, a number of excellent hotels and beachside resorts, restaurants,
bars, a zoo and botanical garden.
