Guinea People:

Guinea is home to an estimated population of 9, 690, 222 people. The country’s main ethnic groups are Peuhl, Malinke and Soussou. There are also a number of small ethic communities residing in the country. Islam is the main religion in Guinea introduced here by the Fulani in the 18th century.

Christianity and traditional beliefs are also practiced. French is the country’s official language though a number of local languages are widely spoken.
