Ibadan:

Ibadan is Nigeria’s second most populous city after Lagos. The city is situated north of Lagos and is home to an estimate 3.7 million people. Settlement in the area around the present city’s confines was initially settled around the beginning of the 18th century by a number of small tribes (mainly the Yoruba).

The city developed largely after an administrative and trade centers were established here as part of the British protectorate in Nigeria. The city has a number of interesting places to visit such as the museum and cultural center, amusement park, local markets and shopping centers.

Ibadan is linked to other parts of Nigeria by road and rail. The city is also served by an airport with regular flights operating to and from here.
