Cote d'Ivoire Currency:
The
CAF Franc, also used in a number of West and Central African
countries is the title of the currency used in Cote d’Ivoire.
The currency was adopted to replace the French
Franc that was in use here during
the colonial period. In 2005, one American dollar exchanged
at an average of 527.47 CAF Franc.
For visitors to the Ivory Coast, major foreign currencies can
be readily exchanged at a number of banks and foreign exchange
bureaus in major towns.
