People of Cote d'Ivoire:

Cote d’Ivoire has an estimated population of 17, 654, 843 people. The country’s highest population concentration is at the city of Abidjan which is home to about 4 million residents.

The country’s main ethnic groups are; Akan, Voltaiques, Northern Mandes, Krous and Southern Mandes. The country had previously had a large population of French and Lebanese people, but many evacuated following the violence that came with the attempted coup in 2002.
