Kabwe:
Kabwe
is one of Zambia’s larger cities home to an estimated 300,
000 people. The town is the administrative capital for the Central
Province.
The city is situated about 130 km to the north
of Lusaka and is linked to the Zambian capital and other parts
of the country
by road and rail. Kabwe has developed largely due to its location
in a prominent mining area. Copper and Lead mining within the
city is restricted due to pollution concerns.
