Luanda Airport:
The
Quatro de Feveiro International Airport is the key airport in Angola.
The airport is situated about 4 km from the Luanda City centre.
Currently there are no taxis available at the airport and the only
option for transport is via public means or car hire (Avis Car
Rental has an office at the airport).
The airport is the main hub
for Air Angola; the national airline of the country. This government
owned airline flies regularly from here to a number of domestic
and international destinations including; Brazzaville, Accra,
Harare, Kinshasa, Johannesburg, Lisbon, London, Lusaka, Paris,
Rio de Janeiro,
Windhoek, Cabinda, Catumbela, Dundo, Huambo, Lubango, Malanje,
Menongue, Soyo.
Other airlines operating flights to the airport are; TAP Portugal,
Air France, British Airways, South African Airways, Ethiopian
Airlines, Air Namibia, Air Gabon.
Services at the airport: restaurants, bars, currency exchange,
car hire, information desk.
