Monrovia Flights:
Presently,
there are a limited number of airlines that fly to Monrovia. The
city is served by the Roberts International Airport, situated about
60 km from the Monrovia city centre. The airport had been closed
for seven years since 1990 and was reopened to commercial flights
in 1997.
It is estimate that only substantial financial aid will be able
to assist in the improving and repair of facilities at the airport
before regular services
can be resumed.
