is a fast growing industry in Morocco. The country’s scenic
beauty, rich history and culture form the basis for many tourist
itineraries here. Morocco is a relatively stable country with a
well developed infrastructure which includes regular flights from
many world cities as well as an array of accommodation options.
Interesting places to visit in Morocco:
Casablanca: this port city became known by many after being
the location for the 1942 movie “Casablanca”. The
movie starred Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman and won three
Oscars. Popular sites are; the Casablanca Technopark, Hassan
II Mosque, Parc de la Ligue Arabe.
Tangier: this mostly blue colored town provides an amicable
atmosphere for visitors to take in the traditional culture. Tangier
features local markets, restaurants and a number of recently
developed seaside resorts. The town has also featured in a number
of films most notable: “The living daylights” and “From
Russia with love” (both James Bond movies).
Atlas Mountains: visit the highest peak of the Atlas mountain
ranges in southwestern Morocco. The peak here known as Jbel Toubkal
is 4,167 m.
