Ndola:
Ndola
is one of the largest cities in Zambia, at present second only
to Lusaka and is home to an estimated 400, 000 people. The city
has developed largely due to its location in the central Zambian
Copper belt.
The city is also home to a petroleum refinery.
Ndola is linked to Lusaka and other parts of the country by
road and
rail. Buses and minibuses are the main means of public transport
and travel regularly from here. The city also has a small airport
and Zambian Airways provides regular domestic flights from
Lusaka to Ndola.
