Football in Nigeria:
Nigeria
is one of the leading football nations in Africa. The national
team “super eagles” is one of the most decorated
on the continent. The team has participated fourteen times at
the
Africa Nations Cup, winning the continental showpiece in 1980
and 1994.
The super eagles have also participated at the
FIFA world
cup three times; 1994, 1998 and 2002; making it through to

in the process.
