Transport in Nigeria:

Most Nigerian cities have well developed road networks. Cities such as Lagos and Abuja have freeways and highways to cope with peak traffic conditions. Public transport within the country consists mainly of buses and minivans. Train services also exist but these are used primarily to ferry cargo. Taxis are also available in most towns though these are usually not metered and one has to bargain on how much to pay for fare.

The country has a number airports and airstrips with the main one being the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos. The other key airport in the country is the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in the capital Abuja.
