Seychelles Flag:

The
present day flag of the Seychelles was adopted on the 18th of June
1996 and replaced a previous version that had existed since 1977.
Blue is for the clear skies and the seas, yellow
is for the sun, red is for the people and their resolve to
work towards a better
future for the country, white is for peace, justice and harmony
and green is for the fertile lands. The red, white and green
are also the official colors of the SPUP (Seychelles Peoples
United
Party) and the blue and yellow are colors of the Democratic
Party (DP).
