is a popular and friendly tourist town situated in northern Morocco.
The town has a population of about 700,000 people and is one of
the major economic hubs in the country.
Major industries are; food
processing, textiles, chemicals and naval activity. The town
has however thrived mainly due to its tourism industry. The
town is
served by the Ibn Batuta International Airport.
Tourism in Tangier: this mostly blue colored town provides an
amicable atmosphere for visitors to take in the traditional culture.
Tangier features local markets, restaurants and a number of
recently developed seaside resorts. The town has also featured
in a number
of films most notable: “The living daylights” and “From
Russia with love” (both James Bond movies).
