Tanzania Government:
The
United Republic of Tanzania is a democratic nation that was formed
on the 26th 1964. The country endured years of single-party rule
which ended in 1995 following constitutional reforms.
The country’s
capital is Dodoma which is home to the National Assembly. The
president is also the head of government. Presidential and parliamentary
elections are held every five years.

Chama Cha Demokrasia na Maendeleo (Party of Democracy and Development)
or CHADEMA; Chama Cha Mapinduzi or CCM (Revolutionary Party);
Civic United Front or CUF; Democratic Party (unregistered); Tanzania
Labor Party or TLP; United Democratic Party or UDP.
