Zimbabwe People:
Zimbabwe
has a population of 12, 236, 805 people. The Shona and Ndebele
are the main ethnic groups here accounting for about 98 % of
the country’s population.
There are also small populations
of Asians and Europeans concentrated mainly in Harare and
Bulawayo. English is the official language of the country and
is fluently
spoken by many Zimbabweans.
Other key languages are Sindebele
and
Shona which are also widely spoken. Christianity and Indigenous
beliefs are the main religions in the country. Islam is also
practiced by a small minority.
